I've got a new haircut!

I have updated all the category indexes, the style sheets and all the other crap with new pics and a new layout. Enjoy!

A few days ago we stepped into our new home for the first time. Here are a few quick snaps from the arrival:

To come later is a time-lapse video of us unpacking the kitchen that I made. Many of you might also have noticed that emails sent to me over the past few days were bouncing. This has been rectified (Alltel canned my email early, and I just got my new service set up last night). So you should now be able to email us at me@kellytadams.com and jakki@kellytadams.com respectively (or without respect if that is the kind of email-er you are).

It took us two days to load the truck and six days to drive here. This adventure in moving would not have been possible without the assistance of Randi and Patrick. When we arrived, the truck was unloaded in less than three hours, a feat that would not have happened without the help of Kert and Emelie. Gracias, Merci Beaucoup, Domo Arigato, Danke, and Asante.

The second is of the lovely Jakki holding her cat. Her cat has decided that he is too cool to ride with my kitties, so he has been relegated to the Big Yellow Truck:

Well, we're in Colorado tonight, after a long and flat day in Kansas. Last night we had dinner with my friend Rhonda and her boys Leroy and Leron. We were stationed together in San Diego.

There is nothing quite like having all your earthly belongings in a truck headed for a new home. Today Jakki and I (with help from Mom and Dad), finished packing and loading everything into a 26 foot Penske truck and began our journey to Spokane Washington.
